COSPLAY IT SAFE

The Situation

From childhood to adulthood, we’re told that nerds don’t get laid. To debunk this myth while helping to promote consent and safe sex, Durex® headed to the San Francisco Comic-Con.

The Solution

My goal was to merge the action of practicing safe sex with some of today’s biggest brands in Geek lore. The campaign had to be recognized across an incredibly large fanbase. From the occasional Marvel movie-goer to the 8-month “Swamp Thing” cosplay builder. Using iconic characters and typefaces, I was able to develop a fun and smart campaign for Durex® and true cosplayers alike.
